The VW T3 box bumpers were designed for travellers who need solid, practical equipment without aesthetic compromises. The key principle: no drilling, tapping or welding into the body. All mounting points are factory-present in every VW T3 from 1979–1993.
The installation is completely non-invasive. The plate uses only existing holes in the body shell, which are standard in every VW T2 and T3. No drilling, tapping or welding is required. Before fitting, the radiator must be moved aside and the lower grille panel removed.
