The parking ventilation airlock for VW T4, T5 and T6 is a simple stainless steel accessory that allows you to leave the tailgate slightly ajar while your vehicle is parked. This is particularly useful for camper vans, campervans and converted vans where ventilation at a standstill is essential — whether sleeping, cooking or simply keeping the interior cool on warm days.
The element is mounted directly in the tailgate lock mechanism. Once installed, it prevents the tailgate from closing completely, holding it open by a small gap to allow airflow while keeping the vehicle secure. Installation requires no drilling or modifications to the vehicle body.
Made from 4mm stainless steel for durability and resistance to rust and weather. Compatible with Volkswagen T4 (1990–2003), T5 (2003–2015) and T6 (2015–2019).
